How to Play Extended Double Bass Techniques (strings)

This Video is intended to teach and show you about extended (contemporary) double bass techniques and sound effects. This also applies to other stringed instruments such as the violin, viola, and cello (gamba instruments etc). Most of these things work particularly well on bass and other bowed stringed instruments. The Main focus of course is double bass.

I hope you did learn some new things. I tried to be very through in my explanations and reviewed everything I would say. There may be somethings that are unclear which is inevitable. If some thing isn't sounding properly maybe try a different approach.

Above all just Explore and Experiment. There are so many sounds yet to be discovered. There is always so much more that can be done!

Stay tuned for the Harmonic video series :)
