How to snipe on eBay....

Something I forgot to mention is to make sure you are logged in. eBay will allow you to enter (place) a bid without logging in. It's not until you hit the "Confirm" button that you will be prompted to login. Naturally, if you're sniping correctly with only a few seconds left in the auction, by the time you login, the auction is over. I always enter a minimal cursory bid just as confirmation that I am indeed logged in.

Before posting hate mail, please know these facts:

1) It wasn't until I was sniped dozens of times that I became a sniperer™.
2) Most of the items I purchase on eBay are "Buy it now" items. I only snipe when I can't find a "Buy it now" price I'm comfortable with.
3) It's a "Snipe or be sniped" world out there. As much as I hated snipers, I had to become one in order to win auctions.
