How to Write and Record Harmonizing Death Metal Guitars

This is a 2-part instructional video where I teach you how to write and record harmonizing death metal guitars.

Of course you can apply this to any style of music.

I start with the recording process. In this video prior to this one, I taught you how to pan your guitar tracks.

In this video, we take it a step further and learn how to harmonize those guitars.

I go through the recording process (you get to watch me lay down some death metal tracks in the studio!).

We record two guitars and hard pan them each.

After that, I teach you how I write my harmonizing guitar parts.

Being that this is death metal, I'm playing my 7 string guitar. But you can apply the same frets to your E string if you're playing a 6 string guitar.

Oh, and I'm sharing the recording process here to a song called 'Final Reign' which will be on my new album, so stay tuned for more updates and more recording videos throughout this process.
