Description from the creator

In this video I will show you a cheap way to get bait and how I like to fish for gar. We couldn't hook up to any gar but we did catch some bowfin and catfish. When fishing for gar you have to be patient and really let the fish take the bait and eat it we didn't have that patience and kept ripping the chub away before the fish could eat it completely.

If you are disappointed with how I didn't catch a gar in this vid I have a vid redeeming myself here: youtu.be/BsyJrqwWSKM
Just to show you that this is the best way to catch gar
