How to Clean Invisalign Aligners

In this video you will learn four easy DIY methods to clean and sanitize your clear Invisalign aligners/trays. Cleaning your Invisalign Aligners is one of the most important steps (apart from wearing them for a minimum of 22 hours) in your treatment process. My four simple methods will keep your aligner trays crystal clear and odor free without breaking the bank!

Method one for cleaning your Invisalign aligners is the simple baking soda and peroxide mixture. Baking soda and peroxide can also be used to make a natural tooth paste. Soaking the clear aligners should not damage them. This solution is similar to the clean crystal powder samples that comes with your new aligners.  Try it and let me know how you like it :)

Method two has never been seen before anywhere online! I came up with this method on a whim. This peppermint soap is great and one of my favorite Castile soaps. Honestly, if you are going to use soap and water to clean your Invisalign aligners, it should taste great! You can even make a simple solution, place it in your travel pouch, and have it ready when you are out and about. Your travel pouch should have your Invisalign case, a toothbrush, and toothpaste! I'll share mine in another video.

Method three and four are really simple as well! After you watch this short video, leave a comment below with your favorite step. I use all of these methods throughout the week.

The best part about these four simple cleaning methods is that all of the ingredients can be found in the kitchen and bathroom.

This is video number two in my series on adulting with braces. Check back next Sunday at 12pm (Eastern Time) for the next installment.
