Description from the creator

In this video we describe how to host a web server on a raspberry pi on the internet using your local area network (home network). We go over the process to connect your raspberry pi to NoIP to map a domain name to your dynamically changing ip address. We go over port forwarding and how to configure your router to move connections on certain ports to your raspberry pi. Lastly, we demo the web app and display a message on the message board remotely. The code was written in Ruby on Rails and was run on a Raspberry Pi Zero with Raspberry Pi OS (Raspbian). Please comment with any questions you have and like the video if you enjoyed it.
