Congrats on taking the first step to organizing your future! When comes to creating a budget, simple is better. Your budget is a way for you to keep track of all of your income and expenses, being aware of when all your bills are due so that you never forget again! You want to spend about 10-15 minutes a week updating and balancing your board to make sure your bank account reflects what you’re putting on your board. Once you get into a routine, the time spent should be, less than that.

The magnet is the key! You should be moving your marker daily to keep up with your week to know what bills are due and your remaining balance Afterwords. This board is just the gateway to start budgeting, as you evolve your process it this will start to become second nature.

Using the Bill Board starting off is great, using an excel spreadsheet will take your budgeting to the next level. Once you learn the formulas, you can create your budget however is easiest for you. We will break this down in a later video.
