Description from the creator

The readability Score (also called the Flesch–Kincaid score) is calculated for text in MS Word that determines how hard it is to read.

The higher the readability score, easier it is to read.

According to wikipedia - The Flesch–Kincaid readability tests are readability tests designed to indicate how difficult a passage in English is to understand.

A score of:

-- 90-100 can easily be understood by an average 11-year-old student.
-- 60-70 can easily be understood by a 13-to 15-year-old student.
-- 0-30 can best be understood by university graduates.

If you're in the business of technical writing or white papers, a lower score may work for you, but in regular day to day life, the aim should be to get a high readability score.

In this video, you'll learn how to get the Readability Score in Microsoft Word 2013. The score is calculated using the Flesch–Kincaid formula.
