Description from the creator

In this video, Brian and I show you how we created this collapsible flag pole to use at music festivals!

Items you'll need:
Everbilt Portable Clothelines (10lb Working Limit) - $4.98
3/4 PVC Cuplings - $0.39 (x2)
3/4 PVC Cap Slip - $0.64 (x2)
3/4 PVC Pole 42” (We cut this into three 14” pieces) - $2.44 for 10’
1” Rotating Flag Mounting Rings - $3.59
Total - $13.07

*You’ll also need a drill for this so that may be an additional cost if you don’t already have one at home!

Steps:
1. Cut the PVC pole into 3 14” pieces (we did this in Home Depot)
2. Drill a hole in the end of each cap slip
3. Cut the suction cup off of the travel clotheslines elastic (you won’t use these) - they come with little caps though so save those!
4. (Optional step) spray paint the PVC pipe whatever color you want to cover the numbers/letters on it
5. String the travel clotheslines string through the end of one cap slip
6. Then thread the string through the first 14” pipe
7. Thread a 3/4 cupling through next
8. Thread the next 3/4 pipe through next (the two pipes will now be connected via the cupling)
9. Next you need to take the insert out of the 1” rotating flag mounting ring (you won’t need it)
10. Add the rotating ring part with the flag attachment on the pipe first
11. Add the fastener part next, but don’t tighten it yet
12. Add the next 3/4” cupling
13. Add the final piece of 14” pipe next and thread through the string
14. Take apart the second 1” rotating flag mounting ring (again you just need the fastener and ring) - add the fastener part of the ring to the pipe
15. Next add the rotating part with the flag attachment
16. Take the other 3/4 cap slip and thread the string through the top
17. String the thread through the little black cap (this came with the thread) and tie the thread in a knot
