How to build a great wind chime. This one has been re strung at least 5 times. The clapper has many more. It is at least 30 years old. It is aluminum conduit. I tune each tube. I used a harmonica on this one. Then i got a chromatic tuner ( A Boss 12H) that cost about a hundred dollars. I made a hundred and fifty at least with any pipe I could find. I used sch 40 threaded aluminum conduit on this one. It is great stuff and sounds good. All aluminum, conduit seems to sound great. Stainless is good too. Copper water pipe is great. I never used steel water pipe or steel conduit. It was scrap from our scrap barrel. I made it around 1980. And had to restring it at least 5 times.
