This video is about how to persuade a judge to be more lenient on your sentencing. My deep philosophy is this:

People can be and are moved to be more reasonable when they have reasons to support it.

Reasons = reasonableness = the BIG WHY? Why do you deserve anything? Why do you deserve the judge, probation department, and the prosecutor to treat you and your situation differently?
This video gets into the "how to" of reason creation.

No-one and I mean no one likes surprises, especially in the area of criminal defense. My clients like some certainty of not only what they are facing but who they are facing. Judges are the ultimate decider at sentencing so understanding some judge psychology can go a long way.

Just as every court, judge, and case is different. Every person has a different situation which must be assessed to see the best way to handle their criminal charges.

Newman and Cyr is a boutique DWI and defense firm located in Ithaca, NY and serving the Finger Lakes region. We handle many types of criminal matters, traffic defense, but focus on DWI defense. We also can represent you in the sealing of your prior criminal convictions.
