How to Read An Annual Report | 3 MAIN Things to Focus!

In this video, I will share with you how to read an Annual Report of any company, by just focusing in 3 main sections:
1. Chairman/CEO’s Statement
2. Key Financial Summary (5-years Historical)
3. Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)

A company’s annual report is the single most important/reliable source of information that any investor can read to understand the financial state of a company.

In order to make the most out of your time reading any annual reports, it is essential to understand how an annual report is structured and what are the main sections that you should focus in, instead of reading every single page in the annual report.

I’ve been reading annual reports as part of my daily job for about 2 years since 2018, and through time, I’ve learnt to cut down the bells & whistles and just focus on the CORE information that will help me with my analysis of any company.
