How to Redeem Korean Air Miles

There are only 3 ways to earn Korean Air Miles.

1) Book flights and fly on Korean Airlines
2) Transfer Marriott Bonvoy points at a rate of 3:1
3) Use a SKYPASS Visa creditcard offered through US Bank

The problem with Korean air miles is that they expire after ten years and I have about 20,000 points with them that is soon to expire.

I am considering getting the SKYPASS Select Visa card. It has a $450 dollar annual fee, but it gives you:
- a $200 annual statement credit on travel purchases
- a $100 off coupon for Korean Air ticket purchases each year,
- 2 Korean Air In-flight Duty Free $25 coupons
- 2 KAL Lounge coupons each year
- a 30,000 Bonus Miles sign-up bonus after $3,000 spend (worth over $400)
