Staining a deck gives you the color you want but don't forget to seal your deck also. In this video I show a before and after photo of a wet deck, that has been sealed. I used Valspar Stain and seal. It was easy to apply with a paint brush, and dries quickly. Thompson's water seal is also a good choice.
