Sorry I wasn't in the mood to talk threw it step by step so i'm going to tell you here. This is what I do.

Step 1: walk threw the pattern at least 10 times or tell your horse gets comfortable with the poles (you lead them threw first)
Step 2: ride your horse threw at a walk a total of 10 times over a corse of 4 days (3 times each day)
Step 3: ride threw them at a trot tell you fell comfortable doing it at least 20 days of trotting.
Step 4: canter them for at least 4 days.
Step 5: let them run for at least 2 days
