This duck was shot with 2 mini-cross bow arrows at a public park in the middle of Colorado Springs.One of the arrows went through the poor ducks trachea. The CDOW claimed that this duck was a domestic duck and wouldn't investigate this crime,even though they said they made several attempts to rescue it(all failed).The CDOW collects a federal excise tax on all hunting equipment including these arrows- "Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act". The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region stepped up to the plate and are investigating this crime!! Thank you Officer V. Cheney!!!
