The excitement never ends!!! Raising animals turns into veterinary care. One of our Ancona ducks cut it's foot somehow. It was hobbling around and the other ducks were pecking at the wound. We took it from the flock of ducks and are caring for it in our covered coop. We are learning how to care for its foot and want to share what we have learned so far. It is ANOTHER daily chore to change its bandages and check in on it. Hopefully it will be ready to join the other ducks soon. The plus side of this experience is that we have a tamer duck.
