How to Encourage Cats to Drink Water

I tried all sorts of funky ways in terms of how to make cats drink more water, it's not easy as a lot of house cats won't drink water as much as they should... I was told that in the wild cats don't' drink water nearly as much, but that's because they also eat their prey raw and the blood in the raw flesh from the birds or rats they captured, etc.

I have a habit of cooking for my cats making homemade cat food pate all the time. So this time I am mass producing it and I also add some water to it to dilute the fish soup... And that is how to get cats to drink more water in my case... It works quite well for most of my cats... (Try warm water for optimal results).

Feel free to use a variety of fish, but remember to pick out the bones 100%.

Sidenote: this is also the recipe for homemade cat food jelly and homemade cat food mince, it's just a matter of how well you break up the meat morsels.

Note: Taste test happens first, then the sneaky "water drinking part" comes after...
