how to kill green hair algae in saltwater tank fast using hydrogen peroxide. 12% works just as well as 35%. 35% is always in limited quantities and sells out fast.

It is recommended to not use more than 2ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons of water. Food grade hydrogen peroxide will burn your skin so please be careful when dosing. Use a syringe with no needle and dose to the green hair algae on your live rock or glass with power heads and pumps turned off. Turn power heads and flow back on after about 10 minutes. I will do this slowly, administering the hydrogen peroxide once a week. Too much could hurt your coral and inverts. Once a week is fine. Dosing FOOD GRADE hydrogen peroxide of 35% melts away green hair algae. Nothing else worked to kill the green hair algae. I removed my sandbed, tried fluconozole, blacked out the tank, and have been feeding the fish once every other day only. MY TDS is reading 0 from my RODI unit. Next step is to install the GFO reactor from bulk reef supply, which I bought. I don't get anything for free.
