How to Measure Your Dog for A Breed-Specific Dog Coat

Greta the greyhound and Eng of Voyagers K9 Apparel will show you how to measure your dog so you can select a Voyagers K9 Apparel dog coat size that will fit your dog well. You will see how to take the three important measurements you'll need when ordering a breed-specific dog coat.

Note: Be sure to use a flexible seamstress measuring tape and take accurate measurements.

The Three Measurements You Need To Take:

1. Measure the Length
Find the top of the shoulder blade which is right on top of the two front legs. (You can feel this.) Measure from the base of neck and measure between the shoulder blades to the beginning of the tail.

2. Measure the Chest Circumference
Wrap measuring tape around the deepest part of chest. This is just behind the two front legs.

3. Measure the Neck Circumference
Measure around the center of the dog's neck. Measure midway between the base of the neck and behind the ears.
