How to Setup a Fire Belly Newt Tank (Simple Method)

Watch in HD and remember to SUBSCRIBE!

Hey everybody IHTW here!
Todays videooo is a little tutorial on how to setup a very simple fire belly newt setup! If you dont have efts (juvenile newt) then you can just use this technique and simply make it larger for example i am using a 2.5 gallon tank for my 8 chinese fire belly newt efts (3-4cm each) but if you have 2 adult chinese fire belly newts use this but make the tank size 5 gallons and have larger rocks and decor.

Stuff you need!
1. an appropriate sized tank
2. paper towels and/or reptile carpet (NEVER GRAVEL! SAND IS OK BUT NOT RECOMMENDED)
3. rocks (make sure to boil the rocks before adding them in the tank to kill of any foreign bacteria)
4. decor ex. fake rock items, ornaments, marbles, etc
5. plants (live or fake) live is preferred for obvious reasons like filtering the water, removing harmful chemicals, etc
6. water (make sure its DECLORINATED!)
7. some sort of secure lid (i used a mesh lid which wasn't shown in the video)
8. a background if you have one (you can use store bought ones or just print one out like me)
