It is important to test a suspected insulin resistant horse yearly. It is also important to do so using the following steps:
Only Hay the night before and only until midnight
Use Karo Light Syrup 1 hour (see the video for cc's) before testing
Use the proper tubes to extract the blood
Spin the blood and remove the plasma A.S.A.P.
Remove the plasma from the blood
Refrig the plasma and ship frozen
You will assure an accurate test and save your client money
