Description from the creator

In this video we are going to see how to display welcome message once you logged in using the terminal in CentOS 7.
Here in this video we cover two scenarios. First scenario i will be modifying the file /etc/motd and add the simple welcome message.
Second scenario I will be creating mot.d.sh in /etc/profile.d directory. In mot.d.sh I will be passing linux commands between message text and these
commands will be executed during the display of the message.
I will be using some small commands like hostname, hostname -i, date to display some details once user is logged in.
motd -- stands for message of the day.
Important Note: if you pass the commands between messages it should be enclosed by backquote (`)
example: echo "welcome to linux you have logged in as `who am i` and your ip is `hostname -i` on `date`"
