In this guide, I show you how to add or remove a photo from a contact. Having a photo attached to a contact makes it so that every time that person calls or texts you, their picture shows up. Sometimes though, it links with Facebook with a picture you may not want to have on your phone. So knowing how to remove it comes in handy.

Note that if your picture is sycned with Google (or a google contact), removing it off of your phone will only delete it temporarily until the next time your phone syncs with gmail. To delete it permanently, you have to log into gmail itself and remove the photo from there.

To remove a photo from a contact on your phone, open your contacts app, tap on the contact in question, press menu and then edit, and then tap on the photo and hit remove.
