In order to block YouTube channels so you never see the channel's videos when browsing or searching on Youtube, you need an extension on Chrome (or add-on on Firefox) called "Video Blocker."

Search for "Video Blocker" or click the link in the Description of the video.

Install the extension (or add-on).

Choose the video of a channel you'd like to block.

Right click on the video and click "Block videos from this channel."

That channel will now be blocked from YouTube.

To unblock a YouTube channel, go to the Extensions setting, by clicking on the top right box in Chrome and clicking Settings. Then click Extensions.

Find Video Blocker and click Options.

Find the blocked channel, click on it and then click Unblock.

Now that channel will be unblocked.
