Step 3: In the section called 'How People Find and Contact You' the first option is "Who can send you friend requests?

How To Stop All Friend Requests On Facebook

If you want to stop friend requests on Facebook, click on the top right lockbox.
Click 'See More Settings'.
In the Privacy Settings, under the "Who Can Look Me Up?" (under the email or phone number you provided) section, click 'Edit' and change that to 'Friends' to keep friend requests to within your inner circle.
Second thing to do is where it asks "Do you want other search engines to link to your timeline?" - make sure that's turned off if it isn't already.
That way your Facebook profile will never show up in any search engines.
