Description from the creator

Natural language search is increasingly becoming a necessary feature to include inside your applications. Even if just for making your admin tooling easier to use, it’s something you are going to want to know how to do. But searching with natural language sounds really hard to build right? Well, maybe it’s not as hard as you think.

Algolia is a SaaS product created in 2012 that essentially creates a hosted version of ElasticSearch. Algolia provides the REST endpoint, and all you need to do is send your data to it’s backend, and it will index your data for you so that you can search it with natural language immediately. Algolia also deals with all the scalability issues for you, and gives you an awesome UI for configuring and managing your indexes. Real talk right now, this is one of the single best SaaS products that I have ever used. You can seriously build robust natural language search into apps in a matter of minutes.
