How To Burn A CD For Car & Standard CD Player | Convert MP3 To WAV

Today we are going old school and burning a CD so that it will play in a car cd player and any standard cd player, because I've seen some YouTube tutorials are actually giving out some wrong information, I thought I will bring back some order to this chaos.

Steps

1 You will need a CD +R or -R, no need for CD RW, although it can be handy for testing, wrong information on YouTube, higher price doesn't mean higher quality necessarily.
2 Right format; i,e WAV or AIFF not mp3 or other compressed file, will not play on standard cd player. A Wav file will be much larger, so less tunes will fit on a standard CD
3 44100 hz and 16 bit pcm, no other foramt and rate.
4 Need to convert mp3 to WAV or AIFF, can use Audacity or other any other free app or convertor
5 For burning software, can use Windows Media Player. Another option can be CDBurnerXP on Windows, CDEX open source, or any other. Be careful when downloading and installing, most software come with bloatware so deselect things you do not want.
6 Must choose Audio CD and not Data CD, otherwise will only play on pc
7 Finally, if burning at highest speed, it sometimes can be a problem, I recommend around 4x speed, but you can try more like medium speed, or something like 24x.
