Description from the creator

My Garmin Vivofit 4 lasted about 16 months on the original set of batteries. I needed a quick fix and only had LR44 (AG13, 357, 303, A76) batteries which are thicker (5.4mm) than the recommended SR43W (386, 301, SR43SW, SR43) which are 4.2mm. These LR44 are usually cheaper but being Alkaline have 60 mAh rating (vs. 125 mAh for Silver-Oxide SR43W). However, if you can fit the LR44, you can also fit the SR44W (375) battery with 165 mAh capacity! This video shows how to hack your watch to accept them. You lose water-proofing and beeping, but that wasn't critical for me. When I can get some SR44W batteries I may swap out these LR44's but for now at least my watch works! If the SR43W's lasted 16 months, I expect the LR44's to last 8 months. But could the SR44W's (at 32% higher capacity) last almost 2 years? Stay tuned to find out!
