This is a relatively easy installation of a PCI Firewire 400 card. I know it's long but if you don't watch the whole thing, you don't get the fun surprise at the end. Patience, muh homies. The hardest part was deciding what card to buy. It didn't work at first so some troubleshooting may be required. I'm no expert on PCI cards but in case you're wondering why not USB - well alot of people have old USB ports so video transfer will not work. Newer USB ports will transfer video, but not too many cameras support it...so firewire then.
