When you need windows recovery tool? Sometimes you have a problem with windows operating system on your phone. Your phone might be restarting frequently. If your phone not working due to phone hang issue. For this above issue, you need to install Windows Recovery Rool on your computer.
Download and Install: You need to visit windows official website to download Windows Device Recovery Tool. Or simply, search over google to download. After downloading this software, install it on your computer.
After completion of the installation of the Windows Device Recovery Tool connect your windows phone with your computer on which you have installed this recovery software.
In my case, I use Microsoft Lumia 640 XL for flashing my windows 10 phone.
When you connect your phone through USB cable then press and hold both power button and volume down button.
The Windows Device Recovery Tool try to connect with your phone. If it cannot detect your phone then click on "My Device Was Not Detected".
This software will show you device manufacturer lists. Click on your manufacturer icon and it will detect your phone. This will show your device information including software availability and firmware version. Under this information, you will have a software installation link and you need to click on this link. After this stage, a disclaimer will appear including that you will be lost your data. If possible please take back up of your phone. You will have a survey report, please ignore this and click on the continue without submitting the report. Software package started downloading, it will take some time depending on your internet connection speed. And then this will install on your phone automatically.
