If you are having issues turning your laptop on then this guide is for you. The issue is usually caused by one of six issues.

Issue 1 - Power lead issue, When you plug the power lead in to your laptop you should see a Led light come on, if you don't its possible your power lead is not supplying power.

Issue 2 - Battery, Remove the battery and plug the power lead in. If the laptop powers on this indicates the battery is faulty

Issue 3 - Remove CMOS battery, This will reset the systems CMOS / BIOS

Issue 4 - Memory, Remove all memory dimms from your machine and blow in the slots then place the memory back.

Issue 5 - Remove the hard drive from your system, If the laptop then powers on this means the hard-drive is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Issue 6 - Remove your CD-ROM drive if you have one installed
