Description from the creator

Your Glutamine is BROKEN. Let’s FIX IT With How To Take Glutamine: 5 Tips you NEED.

If you’re using glutamine for recovery, bodybuilding, muscle growth, strength, or athletic performance, you’re missing out on HUGE potential. Let’s FIX that!

TNation Glutamine Update
The seminal TNation glutamine article served as a HATE GENERATOR. Why? This T Nation amino acid review was the first published online article showing that a supplement was INeffective, and no one liked that! This EPIC review shows why/how we let the hate flow, and although it’s LONG, it explains A LOT about our industry today!

Note: Timecodes/TOC/FAQs Below

3 Questions, 1 Answer
FAQ 1: Is glutamine worth it?
FAQ 2: Is glutamine effective for bodybuilding (aka is glutamine good for building muscle)?
FAQ 3: Is glutamine for athletes or are we permanently stuck with the l glutamine bodybuilding connection?
Answer: Not right now, be we can fix it.

Glutamine Stacks
We’ll look at if and how to take glutamine and BCAA together, as well as glutamine and creatine together. Are these common glutamine stacks viable?

Glutamine Timing and Dosing (including bcaa glutamine timing)
Preworkout? Post-workout? When is the best time to take glutamine? I’ll answer both FAQs: how much glutamine to take and when should I take glutamine? (each for "hypertropy")

There are more FAQs below, but let’s get this one out of the way:

FAQ: I’m mad that your free information takes longer to watch than I want. Does this mean I’m self-entitled?

Answer: Probably, but this video is also too long for my preference.
The problem is that the conversation around supplements has been so retarded (i.e. held back) that we must do a lot of work to: 1) undo the damage, 2) have a higher fidelity discussion, and 3) advance the conversation.

FAQs [aka predictable emotional responses]

FAQ: I’m mad at the information showing that glutamine doesn’t work. Does getting mad at research make me a moron?
Answer: No, it makes you human. This bias was discussed here: 3:27

FAQ: I’m mad that you say my opinion doesn’t count.
Answer: It’s not about you -it’s the fact that opinion is irrelevant when discussing objective evidence (unless you’re in the position to discuss the actual evidence itself).

FAQ: Your wrong. There’s plenty of research showing that glutamine is effective.
Answer: It’s funny that people always make this claim without providing this supposed peer-reviewed published human research. (it’s a bit like writing “I have one thousand dollars for you right here.” Okay, then where is it?)
If you genuinely have evidence to discuss, please provide the PubMed link to help advance the conversation.

FAQ: Your wrong. I know glutamine works.
Answer: Firstly, congratulations on your success -you should feel proud of your accomplishments and no one can take those away from you. In fact, you should give yourself MORE credit, because it is your hard work and dedication that effected change, not a glutamine supplement.
Secondly, we can readily see placebo effect experienced by others (e.g. guys who get pumped by eating bull testicle extract), but it’s difficult to appreciate the power of this effect WRT own perception (i.e. placebo effect). This effect will die off shortly, as we’ve seen with people making the same claims as you for the past 15 years.
Thirdly, I’m not wrong because I’m just presenting information, not opinion. [the 5 tips is altogether different]
