The Kickoff Follow Through

The kickoff follow through is one of the most important things you need to focus on when it comes to kicking off⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There are a couple things you need to keep in mind to maximize your hang time & distance 👇🏻⁣⁣
⁣⁣
→The hurdle. Do not neglect the hurdle. You should be generating so much power from your hips & leg swing that when you finish contacting the ball, your should be finishing up and through the ball and landing on the same foot you kicked with.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
→At contact, you want to be completely locked out and standing tall. Quad locked. Ankle locked. Chest Upright. Nice & Balanced, swinging up and through the ball. Do not bend the knee at contact. You will lose much of the power you generate during your approach. This is a mistake many kickers make.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🔑⁣ During this time of quarantine, these are the mechanics you can be practicing on air multiple time a day, making sure you are staying sharp during the offseason. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣Stay tune for more content daily! Also, if you have any questions regarding kicking/punting/snapping, feel free to leave them in the comments down below!
