How to quick clean my carburetor Johnson 90 hp 2 stroke?
Got the boat home and started my 1982 Johnson 90 hp outboard first crank, so I think it is simply because my speed throttle level on the retmote control failed to pulled the throttle arm forward for starting. I have tried many times to fix the lever cable. It will simply get loosed after a few pool, so I used a fishing line to try to pull it before I start the motor, but the fishing line failed after a few use. So, I decided to use a shoe lace this time. I will show you how that is done (RED neck way) in my next video.
I decided to open the air silencer to spray carb throttle body cleaner into the air intake of he carb throat to clean out the ethanaol gas.
My 1982 Johnson 90 outboard 2 stroke cannot idle below 1,250 rpm on a water hose after my quick fix and clean. Hopefully this is normal and RPM will go down when I test it in the rive at the boat ramp.
