How to stop a horse running out. In this video Kirstin explains there are generally two reasons horses run out of jumps. If it is fear then you have to realize this and ride the horse slowly and calmly. If the horse is being naughty when he is running off you need to teach him to keep straight, to be obedient and if he is naughty then there will be a consequence of a smack. Either way, you need to ride the horse into a train track between your leg, shoulders, and hands.
