In this video I mentioned a tutorial for two DIY hammocks. The first hammock is the modified bridge hammock which works much better for tree camping due to the 3-point anchor system and greater stability. Here is the tutorial:

The second hammock is a standard gathered end hammock. This one can be made very cheaply, easily, and quickly. In my tutorial the hammock is made with climbing spec webbing and tied in a way that is much safer to use for tree camping than traditional gathered end hammocks. Here is the tutorial:
