How to Block Someone in Google Hangouts

1. Sign in to Hangouts at hangouts.google.com , in Gmail, or using the Hangouts Chrome Extension.
2. Open the individual Hangout conversation or invite from the person you want to block
3. Click the gear icon at top right of the chat window
4. Click Block

You can unblock in your Hangouts Settings.
