In this excel tutorial for beginners, I’ll show you how to change a comment box shape. You don’t need to use any VBA for this. Excel has a built-in feature for this. All you have to do is locate it and use it. It’s kind of special excel tricks.

I am using excel 2019 for the demonstration. And let’s learn how do I change the shape of the comment box in excel.
Step 1: Click on the “File Tab”
Step 2: Click on “Options”
Step 3: Click on “Quick Access Toolbar”
Step 4: Click on “All Commands” from the dropdown list.
Step 5: Select “Change Shape”
Step 6: Click “Add” and click “Ok.”
This would add the “Change Shape” feature to your quick access toolbar. Now, select any comment on which you want to change shape. Click on the “Change Shape” Button we just added. Select the shape you want. Done. This is how you can change the shape of the excel cell comment box. I hope you like this excel comments tips. Now you can change the shape of all comments in excel.
