When you use Microsoft Outlook it will store files you've used in Outlook, these are cached files which Outlook can access to speed up things. You can safely delete or clear the Outlook cache files without fear of deleting any important data. Here are some reasons why you might want to delete old cache data. You want to do a clean install of Outlook because of a problem, when you reinstall Outlook, if you don't remove old cache files, they can remain when uninstalling and this could lead to a problem. Another reason to delete cached files autocomplete data and other information which is stored in Outlook.
