Description from the creator

In this week's video I talk about how to help someone speak who has aphasia. I give you four cues to use. When people have aphasia, giving them a clue or verbal assist can help them to express their wants and needs without you speaking for them.

1) Say the first letter or sound of the word.
2) Describe the word.
3) Sentence completion.
4) Use gestures.

I also talk about how music can aid communication.
