Floor screed was a family DIY project.It measured 5.3 x 3.5 x 75mm thick. It was 4/6 of flooring grit and 1 of cement cast over underfloor heating pipes laid on 100mm Insulation. We had 40mm insulation around the outside wall cut level with the existing floor, this gave us a level all round. The existing floor was out of level and not flat. The screed was to be covered with laminated flooring. This is how we did it.
