Description from the creator

Gary Fong explains how to fix a common complaint about flash photography: how to prevent the background from going so dark. This technique uses what is known as "synchro-flash" techniques varying the shutter speed while holding the E-TTL constant to "blend" in ambient light. Set the camera on Manual mode, flash on E-TTL, and vary the shutter speed to suit taste.
