25 Jones street, jersey city. Now you only need the number of the street and you have 10 thousand street name and number in your data range. What would you do? Go to each cell and delete all the text except number 10,000 times? Definitely not. Lets learn a new technique to solve this problem. In this advanced excel tutorial you will learn how to extract numbers from a mixed alphanumeric text strings. Lets get started.

Step 2: Click On Visual Basic (Learn VBA Programming: bit.ly/excelvbacourse)
Step 3: Click "Insert" and then "Module"
Step 4: Write the code (Please subscribe and here goes the code: patreon.com/posts/29857349)
Step 5: Click On the "Run" Button and a new dialogue box will pop up asking for the data range to extract number.
Step 6: Select the data range and click OK.
Step 7: The number have been extract and now click on the error sign.
Step 8: Select convert to number.
Done, You've successfully extracted numbers from a mixed test strings using vba
