Description from the creator

Cholesterol is a waxy-like substance produced by our liver on a daily basis. While it is needed by the body for making hormones and Vitamin D, too much cholesterol can lead to the buildup of plaque in your artery walls and can eventually block blood flow to your heart.

Registered Dietitian Maria Ricupero shares some tips on how to lower your blood cholesterol levels:
• Choose smaller portions of lean meats
• Try healthier cooking methods
• Try to avoid food made with trans fats or hydrogenated oils
• And more!
