Excel tutorial on how to make a macro in Excel. We'll use the macro recorder to create a macro and then compare how much time using a macro to do the work for us can save us over doing it manually.

What is a Macro?
Macros are essentially instructions, in the form of code, used to automate steps in a process. This can be anything – like formatting, adding formulas, text, etc. They can sometimes be complex, but, for many everyday spreadsheet tasks, recording a macro is super easy and can save you a TON of time.
