I used to make fire in Photoshop the manual way - slowly blending and smudging shapes together until I got it looking somewhat fire-like. Not only did it take forever, but the end result only barely resembled fire. Now I use a couple of quick tricks to get my fire looking extra spicy in under 20 minutes. With a combination of custom brush shapes, warp tool, dodge, and linear doge layers, you too can make some custom flames in no time!
