How to make Hydrazine Sulfate

This video shows how to make Hydrazine sulfate. Hydrazine sulfate is a safe chemical compound than using liquid hydrazine directly in chemical reactions. I will be using this hydrazine sulfate as a chemical reagent for make luminol.

Warning !
Concentrate sulfuric acid is corrosive. Concentrate ammonia, sodium hypochlorite and MEK are toxic. Be very careful when handling these chemicals.

Chemicals ;
250 ml - 30% Ammonia
100 ml - Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK)
186 g - Sodium hypochlorite
20 ml - 98% conc. Sulfuric acid

Making hydrazine sulfate is more expensive than it buying it. I only need this for making luminol. Therefore I did not buy massive amount of chemicals. For a person who like to explore the chemistry behind this process it is good for you.
