Do you need to void a check?

➡️ Steps on How to Void a Check in QuickBooks:

Go to “Write Checks” or “Check Register”
Find and open the check you want to void
Go up to “Edit”
“Void Check”
Click “Save & Close”
“Recording Transaction” pop up screen
Click “Yes”


Void vs. Delete Check

Void – Just zeroes it out.

Delete – Gets rid of it but still in the system and you don’t see it.
