Description from the creator

When we find ourselves in a verbal argument, we can get triggered, and we can get angered and upset by insults thrown at us verbally. We tend to react to the other person, that reaction takes us out of any power position we may have been in and it serves to validate the other person's argument and anger towards us. We feel as though we are standing up for ourselves however it is much the opposite. Instead of standing up for ourselves and speaking our truth, we validate their anger towards us and get "dirty" in the process. In this video, I am offering you five deep observations to realize and understand when it comes to your involvement in a verbal argument. We must understand the difference from defending one's self to allowing someone to speak and not owning it. When we don't own it, the other person must begin to see the part they played in the situation. However, if you defend your stance and become triggered, the other person will deflect responsibility to you and not see the role they play. By not seeing their role, they won't awaken to the part they play and they can't evolve and grow. If you watch the entire video, I walk you through the anatomy of an argument, play by play to understand each part and how to ultimately win or at least take the high ground and not be baited into reacting and losing your composure causing you stress and anxiety.
